Despite the massive growth in the adoption of cloud-based systems into all walks of our personal and professional lives, it’s hard to believe that cloud is still unfamiliar territory for many organisations.
One company on a mission to change that is digital business specialist Synergi, which has invested a six-figure sum in the launch of the North East’s first dedicated Digital Business Den, to help organisations understand more about the impact that the latest cloud-based technology tools could have on their operations.
Established in 2014, Synergi is an award-winning Microsoft Partner with a UK-wide client base, and its 27-strong team specialises in helping organisations digitise working practices and migrate from traditional IT systems to more flexible and cost-effective cloud-based technologies.
The new fully equipped Digital Business Den, which takes up the whole of the newly refurbished ground floor of Synergi’s head office in Gateshead, will feature a programme of regular events and workshops including live demonstrations by industry experts, to help businesses see for themselves the impact that cloud-based solutions can have on streamlining operations, boosting collaborative working, and improving efficiency and productivity.
The new space will also be available for Synergi’s clients and partners to use for their own meetings and events, subject to availability.
Chief Technology Officer Justin Short believes the North East’s first Digital Business Den will spark considerable interest among business owners and managers: “While many of them recognise they are in danger of being left behind while competitors innovate all around them, they quite rightly want to make informed decisions about migrating to systems that will have a big effect on their growth and success.
“Many of us are creatures of habit, but those habits can keep our businesses stuck. Technology is redefining the business landscape, and business owners who are naturally wary of taking unnecessary risks are looking for reassurance that cloud is the right move for them.
“Our new specialist suite allows them to step away from the office and talk to experts who can help them identify where they can make improvements, and take a detailed look at a range of digital automation solutions tailored to their needs.
