Established in 2002, North-East based Winn Solicitors is one of the leading names in the claims management sector, achieving a range of awards. However, this success had left them facing a large quantity of policy, procedure and HR forms that needed constant and time-consuming updating.
Large, comprehensive staff and legal manuals had become an ever-growing headache for claims specialists, Winn Solicitors. Whenever any procedural or policy changes were made, these changes then had to be duplicated across sub-companies and in every reference. This process was long-winded and detrimental to productivity. Synergi developed and implemented a solution combining a Valo Intranet to improve user experience and employee engagement, with process excellence via Nintex document generation to successfully ease the pain of constant updating and generation.
The document generation process is at the heart of the solution, creating a single source of manuals that are version-controlled and audited. Any changes made are then recompiled in the subsite manuals, without any manual admin and then placed in a company-wide library. Synergi added functionality allowing HR to circulate notifications to employees highlighting any changes. Creating a single source of truth for the business.
Each business within the Winns group now has an individual, branded intranet. A virtual space that encourages collaboration both within teams and across departments - enabling employees to view news, events, share documents and utilise business applications quickly and simply.
