We feel this partnership will allow us to further support our customer’s security. Whilst many large enterprise businesses, such as Google, have made the move to Yubico, this is also an affordable and accessible solution for many SME businesses. By investing in a YubiKey, organisations can implement passwordless, multi-factor authentication. Passwords have been one of the few available authentication tools available for many years. However, passwords pose a high security risk with users often choosing weak passwords, using the same password for an account external to work, or through password credential theft. Therefore, by replacing the now outdated passwords with more secure, hardware-based authentication, businesses can better protect their sensitive data.
