Announcing our new managed IT service
We are proud to announce the launch of our new, innovative Managed Service offering, despite the current challenging market conditions.
This move comes in response to demand from both clients and other organisations requiring a partner who can deliver service excellence across on-premises, hybrid and cloud technologies. We are expecting to add up to 15 new jobs to our existing 35-strong team over the coming months.
Here at Synergi, we specialise in providing advanced cloud solutions for a UK wide client base, helping businesses to analyse and digitise working practices, and move from traditional IT systems to cloud-based technologies that drive efficiency and productivity, and deliver better value for money.
Our new Managed Services practice will see Synergi expand into supplying mainstream IT services including proactive security monitoring and disaster recovery services, and extend the depth and breadth of our support desk to cover infrastructure and networking communications management. The new services will be provided under flexible contracts that allow clients to access and pay for technology on demand, scaled up and down as needed.
As part of this, we’re also excited to welcome two well-known tech industry figures, who have joined us at director level, and who are spearheading the new service for Synergi. Paul Burns joins as Synergi’s chief technology officer, with a 25-year background in senior technical roles with some of the region’s leading IT providers. He has been a member of numerous technology advisory councils, including Microsoft’s UK & Global Advisory Councils. Working alongside Paul is David Bradbury, who comes on board as the practice director for Managed Services, bringing with him 20 years’ experience in infrastructure, applications and telecommunications sales and management.
Synergi’s chief executive officer Peter Joynson says about the new offering: “The launch of a new, fully or co-managed service is the next logical step in our business plan and comes at a time when adoption of cloud technology is at the fore, particularly with the explosion in remote or home working.
“This new Managed Service means that instead of dealing with several partners each supplying certain elements, clients can work with one specialist technology partner who can provide everything from the design phase through to the implementation and support of the IT platforms and applications.
“Organisations are under very real pressure in the current circumstances, and looking to tap into the cost and efficiency benefits of automation and consuming technology within a contract framework that can flex with their needs.
“Our track record of helping a prestigious client list to drive process efficiency and adopt modern applications, supported by flexible contracts and high service standards, means we can successfully fill this gap in the market.”
The new service will support Synergi’s continuing growth trajectory, which saw us achieve a 60% boost in turnover last year, hitting the £3m turnover mark ahead of targets.
Here at Synergi, we strongly believe that the business environment is at a pivotal moment, with a massive opportunity to review and modernise existing business models as we go forward. The next few months are likely to see organisations emerging with new strategies around business transformation and we feel the time is right to extend our portfolio and offer another layer of support exactly when it is needed.
Peter states that: “Creating a new managed service practice fits perfectly with our long-term objectives, which is to continue driving our core values of excellence, integrity and flexibility, and by doing so become the managed services provider of choice for North East businesses and beyond.”
